3 ONIONS AND THYME CAKE





(Gluten-free version)
Use DOVE gluten-free flour
Use 10g of DOVE gluten-free baking powder
Follow the original recipe then…


i-PAD VERSION

2 red onions, 2 shallots, 2 onions (all diced) – 2 tbsp of caster sugar - 3 eggs – a few sprigs of thyme – 10cl of milk – 100g of grated Gruyere cheese – 200g of self-rising flour – 10cl of olive oil – green salad – 150g of lardons (optional) – little croutons.



In a pan, fry all the onions in a little bit of olive oil.

Add the sugar and the thyme, combine and leave to cook for 15 minutes stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, in a bowl, whisk the eggs with the flour, milk, Gruyere and oil.

Add delicately the onions compote to the eggs mixture.

Pre-heat your oven to 180°.

Butter and line a loaf mould.

Pour the preparation in.

Cook for 25-30 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the salad : cook the lardons a few minutes in a pan.

In a bowl, combine the salad with the lardons and croutons. 
Drizzle with your favourite dressing.
Serve with the cake.
