i-PAD VERSION
400g of Aberdeen medallion of beef finely diced
250g of red onions (diced)
60g of soya sauce
Corn flour for coating
2 garlic cloves crushed
120g of water
60g of fresh ginger grated
50g of nam pla (or Japanese mirin)
The juice of 2 limes
2 tbsp of caster brown sugar
350g of rice or egg noodles
A handful of chopped fresh coriander (optional).
Mix together the
garlic, ginger and soya sauce in a big bowl.
Coat the beef with
the corn flour.
Put the beef coated
in the soya marinade. Set aside in the fridge for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, boil
water for the rice (or noodles), cook them and set aside.
In a wok (or a
pan), in a little bit of sunflower oil, cook the onions for 2-3 minutes.
Add the water and
cook for a further 2 minutes.
Add the beef with
the marinade, the nam pla, the lime juice and the sugar.
Combine well and
cook for a further 5 minutes.
Reheat the rice (or
the noodles).
Add the coriander
to the beef and serve with the rice.
