  2. Oh, it is a very difficult game. The horses are more tired then the polo riders. Enjoyed the video. Marika

    1. Thank you Marika. No worries for the horses, they are not tired at all. We changed them every 7 minutes...(at every chukka). If you see on the video, the horses are not the same...Best, Sixte

    1. Yes Brenda. Especially as they are lots of "right of way" : the imaginary line you created as soon as you shot the ball... Best, Sixte

    1. Thank you Dorothy. You don't need your horse at the beginning. Only if you want to go further on polo, then it is better to have your own horses...Best, Sixte

    1. 27 minutes is a lot. You should have watched a little bit, especially when you are not accustomed with polo... A polo match is very intense, it is why it is divided in, (generally), 6 chukka. A chukka is a period of time which lasts 7,5 minutes where you play. At the end of each chukka, you change your horse, have a sip of water and then you go again for 7,5 minutes. Best, Sixte

  6. Do horses have fun as well playing polo? It must be frustrating to miss the ball. I enjoyed watching the video. Thanks Sixte. Linda

  7. I wouldn't like to be in his shoes. Far too fast and too dangerous for me. On the other hand it is fun to watch the game. Elaine

    1. I know what you mean Elaine. This is a very high level, very high goal. You can compare it as a Giant Slalom and you when you are skiing... You can play not so fast, just to have the pleasure of hitting the ball...Best, Sixte

  9. Nice game! Do you have to be very fit and....very wealthy? Grace

    1. Hi Grace. You have to be relatively fit (depends on how often you play...) Wealthy, yes, if you want to play every day...You can have a lot of fun and play only for the winter season (polo arena, the video) or do the contrary and play only in grass for summer season (I know a lot of people who play only on grass...). You can really managed your budget and have a good time playing polo sometimes...Hope it help. Best, Sixte

    1. Yes, I do Renia. When the weather is good... Polo is played on grass during summer and spring season (from April to November). Arena polo (the video), is played through winter season. Snow polo is played...in mountains, during winter obviously...Best, Sixte
