"The few seconds of the 14 of July's flypast above the "Champs Élysées" is an unforgettable and tricky moment for the Patrouille : it is moving because we are together with the 2 other forces and at the same time, it is the most difficult and complex flypast of all as we have to coordinate our fly formation with all the other airplanes”!

“Briefing 14 flypast : please be more than ever very rigorous especially when at the "hall-défilé"part. At the "minute 10-butte14", I'll call you in Diamond. 
From the “butte 14”, I'll let you form Feathered Arrow and Big nine.  
We have to be well adjusted and from this point, we’ll put our fumes on, as it is where we are going to be seen by the most”.

“We had a strong wind, so it has been quite difficult : we had to anticipate and regulate all the time which is very complicated. But we are so proud of this flypast, so proud to be so loved and honored by the French people that we forgot about this stressful time, straight away!”

This beauty will not fly anymore. After being removed from several French squadrons those last few years, the last of the F1 family (from Savoie's Recce squadron), is going for good as well...
