  8. I like the refueling video. It was like a breast feeding the baby. Very impressive. Carol (mother to be soon)

  10. I did not realize the planes could be refueled in the air. It is quite amazing. Thanks Sixte. Your buffet menu looks great! Lara

    1. Thank you very much Lara. Only combat airplanes could be refueled in the air. Best, Sixte

    2. FOR INFORMATION : This refueling is the most difficult maneuvering in the aviation! The tanker airplane is called a "nounou". Inside a man called a "boomer" will guide the pilot (always on the left of the hose fuel). If you are not careful, the basket (the end of the hose fuel), can ruin your cockpit!!! Or you can damage or break the basket as well. Imagine during night time... Congrats to all those amazing fighter pilots and the men/women around...

    3. Yes, this is a very difficult job. At what speed does it happen, Sixte? Rachel

      Delete
    4. Hello Rachel. It depends but generally between 280 to 300 knt (so around 500-550 km/h). Best, Sixte

  11. Will try to feed my party guest by tube, like in your video. No, not really. Thank you for your buffet suggestions. I will use most of them. Leila

  12. You're welcome Leila. The tube is called a "fuel hose". Best, Sixte

  13. I'd rather refuel my guests, rather than the speeding fighter jets. Sylvia
