  3. Oh I like the diversity. Mushrooms look fantastic and the drink is needed sometimes to calm the nerves. Ciao, Martina

    1. Oh lovely Natalia. I have this recipe from a friend, Huberte. But mushrooms like this are quite common in France (especially in Lyon). Best, Sixte

  7. Do mushrooms go together with the KIR, or they are just separate items? Naive Dorothy

    1. No, Dorothy. It's nothing really. Yes, they go very well together but it is not an obligation...You do it your own way... Best, Sixte

  9. Boursin mushrooms are perfect for the starter. Would KIR be good as an aperitif? Wendy

    1. Of course Wendy. As you can see on the post, the Kir is presented together with the mushrooms for an aperitif. And Kir, is THE aperitif in France so...Best, Sixte

  10. Hey Sixte, success!!! Mushrooms came the way you intended (I hope). They were sensational. Kir is on my list next. I am very happy! Lizzy (the lazy one)

  12. Mushrooms and Kir are happening tomorrow. Wish me luck, Sixte. I have some important guests. Phoebe

    1. I do Phoebe. Bonne chance !!!. Use some prosecco or Champagne for a "Kir royal" if you prefer. If you cannot find Saint-Germain, use "creme de cassis" instead, you will have a real "Kir" like we do in Burgundy...Best, Sixte
