    1. I guess the best answer I can give is that my children go there. Like most sports there will always be some degree of risk involved. When I compare with snow skiing, it seems to me that it may be safer: no crowds involved (only one skier at the time on the water), you spend much less time on the water and there is a strict Code of Safety Recommendations. The best may be to check the place and have a word with the management. Age 6 onwards. Hope it will help... I will propose later this week, a new "outside check". Sixte
