CÈPES AND WALNUT MADELEINES WITH ROQUEFORT AND ARMAGNAC ICE-CREAM - MEDIEVAL HYPOCRAS












The legend says that the invention of Hypocras comes from the Greek physician Hippocrates (fifth century BC). The first recipe of Hypocras was written in English by Edward Lord Stafford, chef of King Richard II and presented to Queen ELIZABETH in 1390.
